Cancellation, reschedule, and refund windows

Windows control how late a customer can change a booking before they lose the ability.

Cancellation window #

Set in Settings → General → Cancellation window (hours). After this window closes, customers can no longer self-cancel from the Customer Dashboard. Providers can still cancel from their side.

Reschedule window #

Same idea: hours before the booking start. After the window, the reschedule button is hidden in the customer dashboard.

Refund window (Pro) #

For WooCommerce-paid bookings, separate refund window. After it passes, refunds require manual admin action through WooCommerce.

Manual override #

Admins always have manual override. The windows only apply to self-service customer actions.

Customizing #

Different windows per service or per provider — implement via the bookaro_validate_booking_payload filter.
Refund logic — extend via the bookaro_payments_* filters in Pro.
