The MyListing Directory lane is the strongest, lowest-support-risk lane. Pick it if your site is built on the MyListing theme.
How it works #
- Provider mapping: the listing owner / provider is read from MyListing’s listing context.
- Services model: services come from the MyListing repeater on each listing.
- Placement: booking renders in the listing template (sidebar entry) or anywhere via shortcode/block.
- Dashboards: Provider dashboard + customer dashboard, or WooCommerce My Account mode.
Setup steps #
- Open MyListing → Listing Type → Repeater. Set the Row CSS Class to
mybookaro_services. This is what MyBookaro looks for to detect services. - In MyBookaro → Settings → General, set Integration Mode to Auto-detect or MyListing Directory. Confirm the repeater class matches.
- Confirm the sidebar booking entry appears on a listing page. If not, check that the listing has at least one repeater row filled in.
- Enable provider/customer dashboards (or WooCommerce My Account mode).
- Run System Status and clear any lane-specific warnings.
Repeater field reference #
MyBookaro reads these fields per repeater row: service title, duration (minutes), price. You can extend this via the bookaro_resolve_mylisting_services_payload filter — see Reference → Hooks & filters.
Common pitfalls #
- Repeater Row CSS Class missing or different — booking entry won’t render. Use System Status to confirm class detection.
- Listing has no rows in the repeater — services list will be empty.
- Listing owner doesn’t match the user expected to fulfill bookings — review the listing’s “Owner” / “Author” field in MyListing.
Pro features on this lane #
WooCommerce checkout, Google Calendar sync, iCal feed, reports, exports, SMS, webhooks, Staff are all supported. Booking chat uses native MyListing messaging on this lane (lane parity).
