SUPPORT FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions before you open a ticket or forum thread.

Open a thread on the WordPress.org plugin forum at wordpress.org/support/plugin/mybookaro/. The MyBookaro team monitors that forum and replies as time allows. No login beyond your free WordPress.org account is required, and threads are public so other users benefit from each answer.

Pro support tickets target a one-business-day first reply, often faster. Pro tickets are answered through the private ticket form — log in with the email tied to your Pro license, paste your license key into the form, describe the issue, and attach a Support Bundle JSON if the issue is technical (Diagnostics → Export → Support Bundle in wp-admin).

Three things shorten resolution time dramatically: (1) the steps to reproduce — what URL did you visit, what did you click, what did you expect, what happened instead. (2) your active lane (MyListing / Single Business / Generic Directory) and any add-ons you have layered on. (3) the Support Bundle JSON from Diagnostics → Export — it captures plugin versions, WC/Stripe configuration fingerprints (no secrets), and the last 200 booking-log entries so we can debug without back-and-forth.

wp-admin → MyBookaro → System Status. It runs a battery of checks on your install — provider CPT registration, lane configuration, Stripe webhook connectivity, MyListing hook presence, scheduled cron events — and flags anything red or amber with a one-line fix suggestion. Re-run it after any plugin update before reporting a bug; it catches most upgrade-related issues automatically.

The Pro support channel includes implementation guidance — if the lane wizard or Stripe Connect setup hits a snag specific to your site model, the ticket thread is the place to walk through it. We do not offer scheduled video calls as part of the Pro tier; for full implementation services on complex multi-vendor sites, point the ticket at our partner list and we will route you to a vetted integrator.

Lite bugs: WordPress.org forum thread with reproduction steps. Pro bugs: private ticket with the Support Bundle JSON attached. We triage based on impact and reproducibility — anything affecting bookings or payments jumps the queue, regardless of license tier.

No phone support. All support is asynchronous through forum threads (Lite) or tickets (Pro). The trade-off is timestamped, searchable conversations with the actual engineer who can reproduce and fix the issue — phone tag tends to produce neither.
