Bookly Pro lists for $199 one-time on CodeCanyon. That price is genuinely competitive — until you look at what’s NOT included. The core Bookly Pro purchase covers the booking engine. Every meaningful feature beyond that — Stripe payments at scale, Google Calendar 2-way, SMS reminders, recurring appointments, packages, the WooCommerce integration, customer accounts — lives behind one of 40+ separate add-on purchases.

This is a real-pricing calculator: what a typical service business actually needs to pay for to get a functional booking flow on Bookly, vs the same functionality flat-included with a competitor.

        The Bookly add-on ecosystem

Bookly’s strength is also its complexity. Each add-on is sold separately on CodeCanyon for $39–$99. Most are one-time purchases, but updates and support require an Envato license refresh per year (typically $30–40 each).

The add-ons most commonly bought together:

Envato licence refresh (annual updates)—~$60/yr on top across the stack

        Three typical builds

Build A: solo coach (Stripe, Google Calendar, SMS)

        • Bookly Pro: $199
        • Stripe Connect: $49
        • Google Calendar Sync: $39
        • SMS Notifications: $39
        • Year 1 total: $326
        • + annual updates: ~$60/yr from year 2 onwards

Compare: MyBookaro Pro Single = $89/year. Year-1 saving: $237. Year-2 onwards saving: about $30/year (Bookly’s update cost vs MyBookaro’s annual).

Build B: 5-stylist salon (the full ops stack)

        • Bookly Pro: $199
        • Stripe Connect: $49
        • Google Calendar Sync: $39
        • SMS Notifications: $39
        • Recurring Appointments: $49
        • Compound Services (multi-service): $59
        • Special Days: $29
        • Service Schedule: $29
        • Pro Customer Accounts: $49
        • Year 1 total: $541
        • + annual updates: ~$80/yr from year 2 onwards

        Compare: MyBookaro Pro Plus (5 sites) = $179/year. Year-1 saving: $362. Year-2 onwards saving: about $100/year. Across 3 years that’s about $560 saved.

Build C: agency running 20 client sites

Bookly’s Extended licence on CodeCanyon is $1,999 one-time for unlimited customer-facing usage — but add-ons must be purchased separately and many are limited to one site each (you’d buy them per client). Realistically an agency runs the regular licence per client = the Build B cost above × 20 sites = $10,820 year 1.

Compare: MyBookaro Pro Agency = $279/year for unlimited sites. Year-1 saving: $10,541.

Where Bookly is still the right choice

        • One-time purchase preference. Some teams strongly prefer “buy once, own forever” over annual. Bookly + selected add-ons can run for years without renewing if you skip updates. (You’ll lose updates and support, but the code keeps working.)
        • Heavy CodeCanyon ecosystem usage. If you already maintain a fleet of CodeCanyon plugins and have Envato workflows, Bookly fits that pattern.
        • Hyper-specific feature mix. Some Bookly add-ons (Files, Cart, Multiply) have niche utility. Buy only what you need.
        • Established install base. Bookly has 70k+ active installs vs MyBookaro’s brand-new launch. If you need a battle-tested track record at scale, Bookly’s volume is higher.

        FAQ

Are the Bookly add-on prices the same on Bookly’s own site?

Bookly Pro itself is sold only on CodeCanyon. Some add-ons appear directly on the Bookly site at the same or slightly higher prices. The pricing in this article reflects CodeCanyon at the time of writing — verify before purchase as Envato discounts shift.

Can I migrate from Bookly to MyBookaro without losing my bookings?

You can export Bookly’s appointment data as CSV and import it manually. There’s no automated migration tool currently. Past bookings are typically informational only (already happened); future bookings need to be re-confirmed with customers. Most teams who switch do it during a quiet week.

Does MyBookaro have all the same features as Bookly + all the add-ons?

Most of them, with some real gaps. MyBookaro covers Stripe via WooCommerce, Google Calendar (push to provider’s calendar), SMS reminders via Twilio, per-service schedules, customer dashboards, and webhooks at $89/year. Native recurring bookings and native package SKUs with auto-decrement are on the roadmap — today you’d model packages as services. Bookly’s “Files” upload add-on and “Custom Statuses” don’t have direct MyBookaro equivalents.

        Try the flat-pricing alternative

MyBookaro Lite is free. Pro is $89/$179/$279/year for 1/5/unlimited sites with every Pro feature included — no add-on shopping list. See how we compare on the Bookly alternative page.
