Pro adds in-app chat scoped to individual bookings — provider, customer, and (optionally) staff can talk about a specific booking without leaving the dashboard.
Lane parity #
| Lane | What chat is used |
|---|---|
| MyListing Directory | Native MyListing messaging (MyListing’s own UI). MyBookaro chat is not used. |
| Generic Directory | MyBookaro booking chat. Requires active, valid Pro license. |
| Single Business | MyBookaro booking chat. Requires active, valid Pro license. |
How it works #
- Each booking has one chat thread.
- Participants: provider, customer, staff (if assigned).
- Read receipts per participant.
- New-message email notifications.
Where to find it #
- Provider: dashboard → Chat tab.
- Customer: dashboard → Chat on each booking.
- Staff: dashboard → Chat for assigned bookings.
